Located in Mérignac, the Aeronautical Information Division (DIA), DSAÉ entity attached to DIRCAM, is responsible for the Aeronautical Information Service for the benefit of State Aviation. For fifteen years, it has been committed to continuous improvement through its quality management system.ISO 9001 certification is granted by an independent accredited certification body attesting the capacity of a quality management system to meet the requirements of the standard.
On 26/04/2022, the DIA obtained a renewal of the certification of its Quality Management System (SMQ) by AFNOR Certification according to the new ISO 9001: 2015 standard.The two main activities of the DIA concerned by ISO 9001 certification are :
- design, development, production and distribution of French aeronautical information specific Defense on any type of support for the benefit of the state aviation.
- design and development of flight procedures.
This certification recognizes two essential skills implemented by the DIA: a permanent orientation towards its "clients" which are the crews, their employment authorities and the military airfields, as well as a capacity of continuous improvement of its organization, its level of expertise and its working procedures in order to respond appropriately to the needs expressed.
